CODEX

Política de uso dos Codex Credits

Tradução fornecida por conveniência. Em caso de divergência, prevalece a versão em inglês.

Effective Date: October 1, 2026

Applies To: Codex Credits (CDXC), Codex Cloud, Codex OS, Node Hosting, and applicable cloud-based services.

1. Overview

Codex Cloud ("Codex," "we," "our," or "us") provides cloud infrastructure, blockchain node hosting, computing resources, and other digital services through the Codex ecosystem.

Codex operates primarily through a prepaid credit-based consumption model. Customers purchase or otherwise obtain Codex Credits ("CDXC") and use those credits to access eligible services.

Unlike traditional monthly subscription services, the purchase of Codex Credits does not necessarily represent the immediate consumption of a service. Credits are acquired in advance and consumed when customers activate, renew, reserve, or otherwise utilize eligible services.

This Cancellation and Refund Policy establishes the conditions governing purchases of Codex Credits, cancellation of services, unused credit balances, and refund requests.

By purchasing Codex Credits or activating eligible Codex services, you agree to this Policy, subject to any mandatory rights provided by applicable law.

2. Nature of Codex Credits

Codex Credits (CDXC) are prepaid digital utility credits used to purchase or consume eligible services within the Codex ecosystem.

Eligible services may include:

Codex Credits are intended for the consumption of eligible services and are not represented as an investment product, bank deposit, or promise of financial returns.

Unless expressly authorized through a separate program or required by applicable law, Codex Credits cannot be exchanged, redeemed, or withdrawn for cash, cryptocurrency, or other monetary consideration.

Credits may not be used outside supported services or transferred except as expressly permitted by the Codex platform and applicable agreements.

3. Purchases of Codex Credits

All purchases of Codex Credits are considered final and nonrefundable, except as expressly provided in this Policy or required by applicable law.

Upon successful payment and delivery of purchased credits to the designated Codex account or wallet, the purchase transaction is considered complete.

Purchasing credits represents the acquisition of prepaid service purchasing capacity, regardless of whether the customer immediately uses those credits.

A customer's decision not to activate services, reduce usage, discontinue node hosting, or stop utilizing the Codex platform does not independently establish eligibility for a refund.

This policy applies to purchases made through supported payment methods, including credit or debit cards, cryptocurrency, and other payment methods accepted by Codex.

4. Unused Codex Credits, Credit Types, and Expiration

Codex Credits (CDXC) may be acquired through different purchasing methods and subscription arrangements. The expiration and usage conditions applicable to credits depend on how they were obtained and the terms of the associated purchase or Subscription Plan.

A. Purchased Credits — Non-Expiring

Codex Credits purchased directly through Codex OS as a standalone Credit Pack or Top-Up purchase do not expire.

B. Subscription Credits — Use It or Lose It

Codex Credits included as part of a Subscription Pack or recurring Subscription Plan are considered Subscription Credits and are subject to the applicable plan's usage and expiration conditions.

C. Separation of Credit Balances

Purchased Credits and Subscription Credits represent separate classifications of CDXC and are governed by their respective usage and expiration conditions.

The expiration of Subscription Credits does not affect the customer's balance of separately Purchased Credits.

Likewise, purchasing additional Credit Packs or Top-Ups does not extend the expiration date of existing Subscription Credits.

Customers are responsible for understanding the credit allocations, expiration conditions, and usage entitlements associated with their selected Subscription Packs.

D. Unused Credits and Refund Eligibility

Unused credits, whether Purchased Credits or Subscription Credits, are generally nonrefundable. The availability of unused credits for future consumption depends on their classification and applicable expiration conditions.

Nothing in this section limits any refund or other remedy required by applicable law or expressly provided elsewhere in this Policy.

5. Consumption and Allocation of Credits

Codex Credits are considered consumed when they are deducted from a customer's available balance to pay for a service or an applicable billing cycle.

Credits may also be allocated in advance toward prepaid service coverage or other fixed-term commitments.

Once credits have been consumed or irrevocably committed to an activated service, they are generally nonrefundable.

Examples include:

Unused, unallocated credits are distinct from credits already consumed for services.

The applicable credit deduction, coverage term, and service conditions will be displayed or otherwise disclosed before the customer confirms the transaction.

6. Cancellation of Node Hosting Services

Customers may cancel eligible Codex node hosting services at any time using available account management tools or by submitting a cancellation request through Codex support.

Cancellation prevents future hosting renewals but does not automatically reverse charges or restore credits for a hosting period already purchased or activated.

Unless the applicable service agreement states otherwise:

Customers are responsible for canceling services before the next scheduled renewal or credit deduction.

Pausing a node, disconnecting a wallet, or ceasing to use a service does not automatically constitute cancellation.

7. Prepaid Hosting Coverage and Multi-Cycle Plans

Certain Codex services may offer prepaid hosting coverage for multiple billing cycles, including plans covering 3, 6, or 13 cycles.

Unless otherwise specified at purchase, a standard Codex hosting cycle is 28 days.

When a customer purchases and activates a prepaid hosting coverage plan, the applicable credits are committed to the designated service for the selected coverage duration.

Such arrangements may include discounted pricing in exchange for advance commitment.

Once coverage has been activated:

Any exceptions, early termination provisions, or service-specific terms disclosed at purchase will govern the applicable transaction.

Hosting Slots and Subscription Entitlements

Certain Codex Subscription Packs include Hosting Slots, which represent an entitlement to host up to a specified maximum number of eligible nodes during each applicable billing cycle, based on the customer's selected Subscription Pack. Hosting Slots establish a maximum hosting capacity and do not guarantee that a customer will utilize the full allocation. Hosting Slots are provided on a "use it or lose it" basis for each billing cycle and do not accumulate, roll over, or carry forward to subsequent cycles. Any unused Hosting Slots automatically expire at the conclusion of the applicable billing cycle without refund, credit, compensation, or extension. Customers who utilize fewer Hosting Slots than their Subscription Pack allows are not entitled to prorated refunds, additional Codex Credits (CDXC), or future hosting allowances for unused capacity. Hosting Slot entitlements are nontransferable, have no independent cash value, and remain subject to the terms, limitations, and duration of the applicable Subscription Pack. Cancellation, expiration, or termination of a Subscription Pack may result in the loss of associated Hosting Slot entitlements upon the conclusion of the prepaid coverage period, subject to applicable law.

8. Automatic Renewals and Credit Replenishment

Codex may offer optional automatic hosting renewals or automatic credit replenishment features.

Where enabled by the customer, such features may automatically deduct available credits or charge an authorized payment method in accordance with the terms disclosed during enrollment.

Customers may disable future automatic renewals or credit replenishment through supported account settings or by contacting Codex support.

Disabling automatic renewal does not reverse purchases, charges, or credit allocations already completed.

Where applicable, Codex will disclose renewal pricing, frequency, payment authorization, and cancellation methods before enrollment.

9. Insufficient Credits and Service Suspension

Customers are responsible for maintaining sufficient available Codex Credits to cover activated hosting services and other applicable consumption charges.

If an account does not contain sufficient credits when a renewal or payment becomes due, Codex may suspend, restrict, or terminate the affected service in accordance with applicable service terms.

Service interruptions resulting from insufficient credits may affect hosted nodes, applications, workloads, and other digital services.

Codex is not responsible for blockchain rewards, network participation opportunities, or other benefits lost due to customer payment failures, except to the extent otherwise required by applicable law or contractual obligations.

Any data retention, recovery, or reinstatement conditions will be governed by the applicable service agreement.

10. Refund Exceptions and Billing Corrections

Although purchases of Codex Credits are generally final, Codex will review verified billing issues and service-delivery failures.

Circumstances eligible for review include:

A. Duplicate Transactions

A customer is charged more than once for the same intended purchase due to a confirmed processing error.

B. Incorrect Charges

A transaction contains a verified billing error attributable to Codex or an authorized payment-processing system.

C. Failure to Deliver Purchased Credits

Payment is successfully received, but the purchased credits are not delivered due to a verified failure within the Codex-controlled delivery process.

D. Failure to Deliver an Eligible Service

Codex is unable to provision or provide an eligible purchased service as agreed, and an appropriate remedy is warranted under the applicable service terms or law.

E. Applicable Legal Requirements

A refund, cancellation right, or other remedy is required by applicable consumer protection law or other mandatory legal provisions.

Depending on the circumstances, the available remedy may include restoring service, correcting an account balance, reissuing credits, providing replacement service, or issuing a partial or full refund.

Refunds granted outside mandatory legal or contractual obligations remain subject to Codex's review and discretion.

11. Promotional, Bonus, and Reward-Based Credits

Codex may issue complimentary or promotional credits through marketing campaigns, incentives, account adjustments, rewards programs, or other authorized initiatives.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

Credits obtained through digital rewards or other nontraditional payment arrangements may be subject to additional program-specific conditions.

These rules do not override any applicable statutory rights associated with credits purchased for monetary consideration.

12. Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Transactions

Certain Codex transactions may be conducted using supported cryptocurrencies or blockchain-based payment mechanisms.

Customers acknowledge that properly executed blockchain transactions may be irreversible.

Transactions submitted to an incorrect wallet or network, or involving customer-provided incorrect information, may not be recoverable.

Where a refund is authorized for a cryptocurrency-funded purchase, Codex will determine the appropriate refund method based on the transaction, the amount originally paid, operational feasibility, and applicable law.

Network fees, blockchain transaction costs, and third-party processing fees may be nonrecoverable, except where their reimbursement is required by law.

Approval of a refund may require the corresponding purchased credits to be returned, surrendered, or otherwise adjusted to prevent duplicate use.

13. Service Availability and Technical Issues

Codex strives to provide reliable infrastructure and hosting services. However, digital infrastructure services may occasionally experience maintenance, service interruptions, connectivity issues, or other technical disruptions.

Temporary interruptions do not automatically establish eligibility for a monetary refund.

Customers experiencing service issues should contact Codex support so that the matter can be investigated.

Eligible remedies, including any service-level credits, adjustments, or refunds, will be determined under the applicable Service Level Agreement, service terms, and governing law.

This Policy does not limit remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Account Closure and Termination

Customers may request closure of their Codex account in accordance with the applicable Terms of Service.

Customers are encouraged to review outstanding hosting commitments and remaining credit balances before requesting closure.

Account closure does not automatically entitle a customer to a refund of unused credits or previously purchased services.

Codex will handle unused purchased balances in connection with account closure, suspension, or termination in accordance with the applicable agreements and legal requirements.

Codex may restrict or suspend accounts associated with suspected fraud, unauthorized transactions, security threats, or material violations of platform policies.

Such actions do not eliminate statutory rights or other remedies that cannot legally be waived.

15. Refund Request Procedure

Customers seeking a billing review or an applicable refund may contact Codex through the official support channels available in Codex OS.

Requests should include:

Customers should report suspected billing errors promptly after discovery.

Codex may request reasonable verification to investigate the transaction, confirm account ownership, and prevent fraudulent claims.

Where a monetary refund is approved, Codex will generally attempt to return the eligible amount through the original payment method, where technically possible and legally appropriate.

Processing times may vary according to the payment provider, financial institution, blockchain network, or refund method.

16. Changes to This Policy

Codex may update this Cancellation and Refund Policy to reflect changes in supported services, billing practices, technology, or applicable legal requirements.

Material changes will be communicated as required by law and the applicable service agreements.

Updated terms will apply prospectively in accordance with their stated effective date and shall not retroactively eliminate contractual or statutory rights already accrued.

17. Governing Terms

This Policy should be read together with the Codex Terms of Service, applicable hosting agreements, service-specific conditions, and any separately agreed commercial terms.

Where a separately applicable written agreement provides different cancellation or refund conditions, that agreement will govern to the extent legally permitted.

Nothing in this Policy excludes or restricts consumer rights or legal remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.

18. Contact and Support

For questions regarding Codex Credits, hosting cancellation, billing adjustments, or refund eligibility, please contact the official Codex support team through Codex OS or the support channels published on the official Codex website.
